Innovation of robotics Timeline
350 B.C A veteran Greek mathematician - Archytas - constructed a mechanical bird named 'the Pigeon', a robot powered by steam, which could fly through the air. This was the first recorded model airplane and a milestone in Robotics history
1801 Joseph Maria Jacquard invents an automatic loom.
1892 Seward Babbitt introduced a motorized crane that used a mechanical gripper to remove ingots from a furnace
1956 George Devil and Joseph Engelberger, known as the fathers of robotics, formed "Unimation" the world's first robot company. Their vision was to construct industrial robots that could be integrated into a factory in the same way as business machines were part of an office.
2006 Japan's first Robot Museum opened in Nagoya, introducing the history of robotics
